Lime essential oil is obtained from the whole ripe crushed fruit. Originally from Asia/India it's now common in most warm countries. It was introduced to Europe by the Moors. Ships transporting limes were called 'lime juicers' and the crews used the limes to prevent scurvy. Limes actions are many including: Antibacterial, antiseptic, anti-viral, anti-fungal, astringent, haemostatic, anti-microbial & febrifuge (reduce fevers).

Lime has been found to help with the following conditions:
