Main properties of Marula include:

Moisturising properties, Antioxidant action, Free radical scavenging properties, Extraordinary oxidative stability. The oil is noncomedogenic which means it keeps a dry skin supple and an oily skin acne-free as noncomedogenic oils do not clog pores allowing the skin to breathe, stay hydrated and free of breakouts. Marula oil has a fruity, floral scent with nutty undertones. It contains amino acids L-arginine, glutamic acid which have hydrating, anti-aging properties, as well as essential fatty acids including, palmitic, stearic, oleic and myristic acids which have softening and moisturising effects. It is also rich in Vitamin E & C which help protect against skin damage caused by UV rays of the sun and pollution.

This makes Marula Oil great for smoothing fine lines, & combined with the essential oils of Rose, Chamomile, Frankincense & Helichrysum (commonly known as immortelle) helps to soothe & decrease puffiness around the delicate eye area.

**Please ensure when applying to the eyes that you do not put directly under the eye itself, a general rule is to apply a drop to your little finger share that drop with the little finger on your other hand and then pat the Marula oil on the Orbital Bone around the eye. Every time that you blink the oil will move into the area surrounding the eye so you do not need to apply within this delicate area itself.
