Vetiver a tall tufted perennial scented grass, with an earthy, woody rich scent. Indigenous to Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India. It's fibres traditionally woven into aromatic mats used to sleep on and repel insects. Believed to help with many health issues, being nourishing, strengthening and grounding, great for the perfectionist and those not able to let things be. It's antibacterial action has shown to stop Staphylococcus aureus. It's also known for speeding up the eradication or disappearance of scars and other marks from the skin. Promotes the growth of new tissues and helps achieve a uniform look, so great for burns, stretchmarks, surgery scars and more. Vetiver has been shown to be helpful with the following health issues:
