White Willow, originally from Europe, wildly grown in New Zealand, one of it's active constituent salicin famously manufactured in 1897 by Felix Hoffman who created a synthetic form of this 1 constituent creating what we now know as Aspirin.

HIstorically white willow was used to staunch bleeding, prevent vomiting, colic, urinary retention, worms, diarrhea, redness/dimness of sight, dandruff and more. In 500BC Chinese healers used for pain. Native Americans used for headaches, rheumatic conditions and fevers. The Ancient Egyptians and even Hippocrates the father of all medicine used, even writing about it's use in the 5th Century B.C. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antirheumatic, antipyretic, actions and is used to help with pain, i.e. post-surgical, muscle pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, headaches, neuralgia, fibromyalgia, fever.
